Each year following the Winter rains the Agua Mansa Cemetery is filled with natural growth (weeds). The weeds are green in the Spring and die out with the warm dry weather. I propose we seed the Agua Mansa Cemetery with California Poppys. The Poppy is a natural flower, needs no care ... only rain water. The Poppys will also die out as the weather turns hot and dry.
The San Bernardino County Musuem (they oversee of the Cemetery) is in agreement with this idea. However the Museum does not have funds for this project. We would need to purchase the seed ourselves.
